Autumn Trees   5 comments

“I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape – the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter.
Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn’t show.”

  1. What an interesting photo! I like!

  2. A beautiful quote Ron – and works well with the image. The skeleton of the earth is laid bare, and we can see its raggedness and fragility, without the beautifying covering of leaves or snow.

  3. Thanks for your comment and lovely words.

  4. I love this! I love the way the light falls perpendicularly on the parallel slanting trees. Lovely light, there’s a real sense of mystery and the trees seem to go on for ever. It looks like somewhere that’s been preserved from time. Beautiful!
